Baccarat Tournament!

1. TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW – Standard Mini Baccarat (no commission)

  1. Tournament will be conducted on Sunday, March 8th, 2026 @ 5pm
    1. Tournament will be held at Ace Airport Casino.Tournament is a Free Roll with no entry feeTournament will be limited to 27 Participants.Every week starting February 9th, 2026, players can earn 1 ballot per winning Dragon or PandaOn Mar 15, Mar 22, and Mar 1 @ 9pm – 9 names will be drawn from the ballots for free entry into the tournament.  Players can win more than 1 seat providing they have someone willing to play the extra seat for them.  Name and ID of patron playing for them must be given to the coordinator before the tournament starts.Players must be present to win seats.  If player is not present a new name will be drawn.Draw Barrel will be emptied after each SundayPlayers will be randomly seated as per player draw of tournament seating cards. 
    1. Any patron wanting a ballot can also obtain one per day from a Pit Boss (NPN)

2. GAME PROPOSAL AND CONDITIONS

2.1          Tournament will utilize standard and approved Mini Baccarat rules, without the inclusion of commission on winning ‘BANKER’ bets.

2.2          Ace Airport Casino shall publicize and post the approved game conditions prominently.

2.3          The official start time will be posted prior to the tournament date.

2.4          Draw is open to anyone legally allowed to play in an Alberta Casino. 

2.5          Ace Airport Casino reserves the right to cancel the tournament if there are less than 14 participants. In the event that cancellation occurs, all patrons will be notified by phone

2.6          Prize Pool is pre-determined at $10,000.  The house will be paying all tournament prizes.

3. GENERAL RULES

By participating in any tournament, you agree to abide by the rules and behave in a courteous manner. A violator may be verbally warned, suspended from play for a specified length of time, or disqualified from the tournament. Chips from a disqualified participant will be removed from play.

  1. Entry into the Ace Airport Casino Baccarat Tournament is limited to players 18 years of age or older with valid identification.
  2. Tables 21 and 22 and 23 will be used for the tournament.  All Casino chips will be credited to the charity bank prior to the tournament starting.
  3. Coaching and team play is prohibited.
  4. Players will not have the option to “Chop” the prize on the final table.   Players must play out the final round.
  5. Winners must show valid picture identification at registration and to collect prize.
  6. Tournament times are approximate.  Ace Airport Casino reserves the right to change tournament times due to unforeseen or extenuating circumstances.
  7. Participants may be disqualified for any prize based upon fraud, dishonesty, violation of promotional rules or other misconduct whether related to the tournament or otherwise.
  1. Ace Airport Casino may cancel, modify, relocate, or reschedule the tournament for any reason with prior notification.
  2. Ace Airport Casino is not responsible for injuries or losses arising or resulting from participation in the tournament and is not liable for any acts or omissions by employees, whether negligent or willful, in the conduct of the tournament.
  1. Employees of Ace Airport Casino are not eligible to play in any events.
  2. Individuals who are excluded from the casino facilities, either through a government program or by their own request, are not eligible.
  3. Prizes, buy-ins, and registration fees are non-transferable.
  4. Prize structures are pre-determined and cannot be modified.
  5. Tournament rules and any changes in the rules and events will be available at the tournament facilities.

4. TOURNAMENT RULES of PLAY

  1. Players will be given seating cards on the date of the tournament.
  2. Players must be present and have received their seating assignment by 4:00PM on the day of the tournament.
  3. Seating assignments may be adjusted, at the tournament directors’ discretion in the event the tournament is not sold out.  The best interest and integrity of the game shall be maintained.
  4. The tournament will be conducted using 1 shoe of 6 decks per table.
  5. The Tournament will utilize a ‘DEALER’ button, to control the order of betting, as follows.

6.1          The position of the button on each table will be seat #1

6.2          Once the position of the button has been determined, it will advance clockwise one spot per hand for the remainder of that round.

6.3          Players must place their bets one at a time, in order, beginning from the player to holding the button.

  1. Each player must bet at least the hand minimum.
  2. If a player does not have enough chips to make a minimum bet, that player will be unable to continue play.
  3. The maximum time each player must complete their betting for each hand will be as follows:
    1. Rounds 1 – 30 seconds.
    2. Finals – 60 seconds.
  4. All betting will be done with Tournament chips.
  5. Players’ chips must remain on the table and in full view of all other players at the table at all times.  Chips may not be removed from the table at any time or passed to or among other players by anyone other than the Tournament Director.

7. TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE

  • Semi Final will utilize 3 tables.
  • 9 players per table.
  • Top 3 players in chip count at conclusion of round will advance to the Final Round
    • 9 players advance.
  • Each player starts with $20,000 in Tournament Chips
  • Round will consist of 20 hands.
  • Hands 1 through 10 will have a minimum bet of $1000, and a maximum bet unlimited.
  • Hands 11 through 19 will have a minimum bet of $2000, and a maximum bet of unlimited.
  • Hand 20 will be SECRET BALLOT
  • Ties Do not Count Towards the 20 hands dealt

7.2          FINAL TABLE ROUND

  • Round will be 1 table of 9 players.
  • The top players with the highest chip stacks at the end of the round will finish in the money, as per payout schedule.
  • Each player starts with $20,000 in Tournament Chips
  • Round will consist of 20 hands.
  • Hands 1 through 10 will have a minimum bet of $2000, and a maximum bet unlimited.
  • Hands 11 through 19 will have a minimum bet of $4000, and a maximum bet of unlimited.
  • Hand 20 will be SECRET BALLOT
  • Ties Do not Count Towards the 20 hands dealt
  • PRIZE POOL ALLOCATION
